Hair Transplantation

Surgical hair restoration works essentially by extracting hair from a hair-loss resistant area and planting them on the recipient’s balding area. Conventional surgical hair restoration methods, which are still highly practiced, consists of a strip comprising of the upper layer of the skin, which is cut out from the back and sides of the scalp with hair (known as the strip method). Individual hair units are then removed and implanted.

Privileged and honoured to be a part of 48th National conference of Dermatologists, Dermacon 2020 Pune. I moderated a session on Micropigmentation in this prodigious event. The most exciting and humbled moment was to deliver a talk on Hair transplant in front of my teacher Dr Alex Ginzburg. Enjoyed the hospitality, food and get together with friends. Kudos to Narendra G Patwardhan sir, Pradyumna Vaidya sir and the organising team for this wonderful conference

Happy to share that I got First prize in ‘Rising star session’ at 8 th World Congress of Dermatosurgery -DASIL 2019 GOA.!
Also It was an honor to be an invited workshop faculty for Hair transplant to perform live FUE surgery.
Thanks to Venkataram Mysore sir and Narendra G Patwardhan sir for letting me a part of it and many congrats to Dr Aman Dua mam for coordinating and organising a great workshop.
